Summer Wine Table Runner

All handmade and naturally dyed clothing can be washed in cold or lukewarm water by hand or in the gentle cycle of your washing machine using a ph neutral soap (not a standard laundry detergent). Squeeze out excess water gently, and do not wring, twist or rub vigorously. This is especially important for wool which will felt if rubbed or washed in very hot water. In the machine use only the lowest spin cycle. Wash separately the first couple of times as it is possible that some residual dye may wash out. Hang to dry away from direct sunlight. A moderate iron may be used on the wrong side of the textile. Please DO NOT dry clean. Dry cleaning uses harsh chemicals which are not good for the textile, you or the environment.

Also, please be aware that all dyes fade with washing and exposure to sunlight. Natural dyes are the same so you can expect colors to lighten and change somewhat over time. You can minimize this by following the care instructions above and embrace the changing nature of your naturally dyed clothing.
